Privilege

What the Left thinks: A pejorative term used to describe the unjust means by which white people maintain a systematic advantage over oppressed groups.

    Definition: A benefit.

Description: Privilege is not inherently negative. Privilege is often an earned result of good choices and the avoidance of bad behaviors and practices. To the extent one has a privilege of some kind, it is something to be thankful for, not something of which one should be ashamed. Conservatives reject the argument from the Left that white people enjoy unjust privilege, today, by virtue of systemic racism. However, when pressed for laws or systems that continue to erect structures of racism, the Left is unable to cite any examples. They do, however, seek to enact new laws and erect new systems that grant privileges, strictly on the basis of race, to those who are non-white. Ironically, the systems and ideologies that systemically disadvantage the poor and minority communities today, are generally established and supported by the political Left.

The premise of this glossary is that the Left has attempted (somewhat successfully) to commandeer our language. With this resource, we are working to restore it to its rightful order.
