WHY liberty lens?

Our Mission

We provide a means by which the practice of journalism is accessible to the people.

what we're building

Our Vision

We will be a reliable source of news, information, and opinion, from the grassroots, with a worldview grounded in Truth. “The Science” will be questioned. Conventional wisdom will be tested. Mainstream expertise will be open to scrutiny. A worldview grounded in the truth demands no less, and withstands questioning, testing, and scrutiny.

What’s important to us

Our Values

  • Truth. This is objective. There is no “my” truth and “your” truth… especially in news pieces. Our reporting aims to reveal… truth. Opinions are reserved for editorials.
  • An unhindered First Amendment. The first Amendment is aimed at preventing government from censoring viewpoints of citizens. A responsible media upholds the values of the Constitution. While media outlets should not amplify false information, they do have a charge to make responsible editorial decisions. This does not violate the First Amendment.
  • The U.S. Constitution, and a population that understands it.
  • God-given, unalienable rights: Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
  • Limited federal government.
  • The rule of law, and equal justice under law.
  • Sound money, free markets, and “democratic” Capitalism (not “crony” Capitalism).
  • Right to own private property.
  • Integrity of elections.
  • Strong, secure borders and legal, merit-based immigration.
  • Judge people “by the content of their character, not the color of their skin”. — Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.
  • E Pluribus Unum (Out of the many, One)
  • The Liberty Lens affirms and embraces a Judeo-Christian framework for understanding ethics and morality in the United States (as did the Deistic among our founding fathers).

Inconsistent with Our Values

The following ideologies are subversive and pose a threat to a great nation.
  • Communism, Marxism, Socialism, Fascism
  • Globalism and open borders.
  • Post-Modernism
  • Racism
  • Critical Theory / Intersectionality
  • Premises and conclusions of the 1619 Project. (For an accurate history of our nation, see the 1776 Project.)
