Definition: Creating a belief or system of belief in a person, a group of people, or a population without the use of critical thinking, by way of manipulation through false or incomplete information, or other deceptive means.
Description: Indoctrination can be the result of intentional, malicious, and calculated manipulation. In many cases, it is the unintentional and ignorant passing on of false, incomplete, or dangerous beliefs. To mitigate the risks of indo0ctrination, all people should be equipped to be critical thinkers and encouraged to have a healthy measure of skepticism as they are presented with new ideas – particularly those that are associated with calls to action or lay a foundation for a moral and ethical framework.
The premise of this glossary is that the Left has attempted (somewhat successfully) to commandeer our language. With this resource, we are working to restore it to it’s rightful order.
